Ciku (manilkara zapota), also known as the sapodilla, is a fruit that is harvested throughout the year. Tasting deliciously sweet, this tea coloured, egg-shaped fruit is best picked when it matures and ripens in 4 to 10 days. Sagil Estate’s Ciku Subang Variety is oval in shape, medium to large in size (from 40 to 120 gm each) and has juicy, sweet and finely textured contents that are a delight with its small seeds.
