IOI Corporation Berhad (IOI) held its fourth Sustainability Consultation Forum (SCF) on 1 August 2024, facilitated by Global Environment Centre (GEC). The event brought together over 60 participants, including IOI’s board members and senior management team, alongside external stakeholders from government agencies, non-governmental organisations and the private sector.

The forum featured two key sessions focused on gathering stakeholder inputs on the key threats, challenges and actionable solutions to protect and enhance biodiversity and ecosystems across IOI plantations and surrounding landscapes.

IOI reaffirmed its strong commitment to biodiversity protection through the continued implementation of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Enhancement Guidelines, while integrating the valuable insights and recommendations from the SCF to further strengthen its conservation efforts.
