Every Monday beginning 16 December 2013 at 9:30 p.m. on Asian Food Channel (Astro Channel 703), MPOC’s “Back to Basics” will feature master chef Martin Yan whipping up delicious food cooked with palm oil. Viewers will get to know the various benefits of palm oil highlighted in the culinary show which is a collaboration between Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) and Asian Food Channel (AFC).

The show features Chef Martin Yan and his guests as they head to IOI Group’s Sagil Estate to learn more about IOI’s pivotal role in promoting the use of palm oil, its plantation operations and sustainability practices.
