Everyone’s a winner at IOI Corporation Berhad’s (IOI) second IOI Innovation Convention 2024, which was held at IOI Headquarters on 24 January 2024. A total of 12 Group-wide teams from our corporate, plantation and resource-based manufacturing divisions spanning across Malaysia, Indonesia and Germany showcased their brightest and most innovative projects to an audience of 150 employees over a hybrid platform.

Following the success of our inaugural Innovation Convention 2022 held two years ago, this year’s event witnessed an elevated display of forward-thinking creativity and incredible team effort that emphasise our ‘Innovation’ core value.

IOI Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Dato’ Lee Yeow Chor and our two Board of Director judges, Dato’ Kong Sooi Lin and Dr Nesadurai Kalanithi, had a hard time deciding on the winners. Dato’ Lee said: “With innovation, we are not only solving our business challenges today, but also shaping the future of our industry. We hope to see more innovative ideas from our people, not only for better savings and work processes, but also to gain from the added values in other aspects, such as carbon emission reduction, brand reputation and employee retention.”
