IOI Corporation Berhad (IOI) won the 2023 AIBP ASEAN Enterprise Innovation Award for nurturing a future-forward supply chain ecosystem through ONE IOI Integrated Platform (ONE IOI) with Robotic Process Automation, mechanisation and other novel technologies.

Since 2018, we have progressively implemented the Group-wide SAP system to streamline our diverse and stand-alone systems into the ONE IOI. To date, all our 103 plantation operating units are fully integrated with the SAP system as well as the electronic plantation monitoring system, while 90% of the operating units have implemented the e-wallet salary crediting system. The system not only reduces manual processes but also fully integrates corporate information for instant decision-making and analytics, enhancing our operational efficiency and creating a widespread impact across the value chain.

We received the award at the physical AIBP Conference & Exhibitions on 4 July 2023 in Kuala Lumpur. Hosted across five Southeast Asian countries since 2014, the 8th edition is endorsed by three ministries namely Communications & Digital, Investment, Trade & Industry and Science, Technology & Innovation, as well as the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT).

The organiser, AIBP has been the most comprehensive platforms among the regional enterprise and technology ecosystem targeting innovation and digital growth. Since 2017, the Enterprise Innovation Awards provide recognition to two enterprises in Malaysia annually for their exceptional digital transformation initiatives.
