Following the successful wrap-up of our first webinar under this programme, we continued our active participation with a second workshop titled ‘Exploring Corporate Sustainability & ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Practices’, at Bursa Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur on 26 July 2023

IOI Group Head of Sustainability Dr Surina Ismail shared key topics pertaining to ESG that are shaping the business landscape today, including corporate sustainability and ESG, initial understanding and clarifications, sustainability and governance in ESG, integration of social practices as well as climate change and biodiversity, and reporting on ESG.

More than 70 participants, ranging from experts from major plantation organisations to other stakeholders from other industries such as energy, construction, telecommunication, investment and many more, were present for the interactive and productive workshop.
