IOI Group successfully attained two more Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Compliance Certification for its Plantation Management Unit Syarimo Grouping and Ladang Sabah Grouping on 20 March 2013 and 3 April 2013 respectively, of which both certificates are valid for the next five years. To date, 83% of its palm oil mills and 74% of its plantations estates have been RSPO-certified.

As of FY 2012, the Group is listed as the second top Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) producer in Malaysia and contributes 14% to the total volume of national CSPO. It targets to achieve 100% RSPO certification by 2013 in order to meet the on-going growth in the use of sustainable palm oil in Europe and United States.
