In July 2019, IOI Corporation Bhd (IOI) via Certification Body- BSI Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd visited Kluang Oil Palm Processing Mill (KOP) in Johore for a mill visit to verify compliance with IOI’s NDPE policy.

The assessment was completed using TWG criteria and indicators to evaluate on legal, environmental, greenhouse gas, social and supply chain compliance. During the assessment, many good practices were documented along with the gaps. 

IOI will meet with KOP again upon finalization of the assessment report to establish the necessary actions plans to close gaps.
